What is managed IT, and is it right for my small business?

We proactively monitor, secure, back up, and maintain your technology for a predictable monthly fee, instead of only fixing things after they break. It’s a great fit for small businesses and non-profits that rely on their computers, email, and data every day but don’t have (or want) full-time IT staff.

Do you back up Microsoft 365? Isn’t it already backed up?

Microsoft keeps the service running, but it does not back up your data the way most people assume. Deleted or ransomware-encrypted mail, OneDrive, and SharePoint files can be lost for good. Our managed Microsoft 365 backup protects it.

How does billing work? Is it all-inclusive?

The managed pieces (monitoring, security, backup, Microsoft 365) are a predictable monthly cost, and we offer plans that include remote help desk support so your team can just call when they need a hand. On-site labor and larger projects are billed as needed, so you only pay for hands-on work when you use it.

We already have someone who helps with our IT. Can you still help?

Absolutely. If you have someone in-house who handles the day-to-day tier-one calls, we can take over maintenance, monitoring, and security behind them and act as their backup when they need a hand or are out on vacation. If you already have an outside IT provider, we’re glad to work alongside them or help make the transition a smooth one. For larger companies with corporate IT, we often act as the boots on the ground for your local locations, handling whatever your team wants done on site. However you’re set up, we’re happy to do as much or as little as you want.

How quickly do you respond when something breaks?

Managed clients get priority response, and our monitoring often alerts us to problems before you even call. For urgent issues, we offer remote and emergency support to get you running again fast.
